Welcome to the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry website!

So, how do we define “minimally invasive dentistry”? It’s difficult to do so because it will be different for each dentist related to his or her level of education and experience. 

Techniques, science and products are rapidly evolving, which renders information from five years ago to be less effective; think of it as the way a five-year old cell phone would operate amongst its cutting-edge contemporaries. 

It is exciting to see the progress being made in so many areas. We just finished our 11^th annual meeting in San Diego, California and the information and innovation was inspirational as usual. We are improving our speaker format so that it addresses questions of “What, So What, and Now What?” Not only will this allow us to review new information and protocols with our members, but also it will allow us to share the very latest science and provide annual updates of the major disciplines in patient care. This format will help our members to be current with the latest information, enabling them to carry out this approach to comprehensive dental care.

WCMID is at the heart of the collaborative effort between industry, educators and providers to innovate and develop techniques and protocols that make all these advancements possible. 

Our Strategic partners are very important to our ongoing efforts to give our patients the very best care. Without the collaborative efforts between these companies and our members, many new techniques and protocols would not exist. We invite like-minded dentists and dental companies to share in ongoing product/procedure development.

I would like to present a personal invite to all of our members throughout the last 11 years to revisit our annual meeting to see what’s new. It’s time to “update the old cell phone technology” and offer the latest and greatest to our patients.
